Cemetery Landslip and Coastal Walk Restoration Update
Due to the damage from the storms of early June 2016, which caused severe erosion to the cemetery gully and undermined the structural integrity of the coastal walk, part of the cemetery coastal walk has been diverted. The unique location and constraints of the site have posed numerous issues on how best to approach the remediation of the gully. Council is currently working with engineers and designers on a solution which is expected to commence construction in late 2017, and last approximately 9 - 12 months.
